LSU Online Faculty Panel- Resilience by Design: Adapt. Advance.

As workforce expectations shift, we must prepare learners to navigate change with confidence and purpose. Resilience and adaptability are no longer optional skills; they are foundational. This systemwide panel brings together faculty, advisors, and academic leaders to explore practical strategies for embedding resilience, self-compassion, and adaptability into courses, advising practices, and leadership approaches. Grounded in empathy, the conversation will highlight practical strategies for strengthening student persistence, sense of belonging, and readiness for what’s next. *Note: The session will be recorded, and the recording will be posted on the LSU Online Faculty Committee webpage following the event.

Designing and Teaching Accessible Courses

Offered by the LSU Online & Continuing Education team, this course introduces the core concepts of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and the laws and standards of accessibility in higher education. The course aims to equip participants with the basic guidelines and tools for making course content accessible and universal.
