Upgrade, Summer Courses, and Course Naming Update
We hope your semester is going well. This is a reminder that our scheduled Moodle upgrade is approaching on Thursday, May 15, starting at 8:00 a.m. CST, with a necessary site outage of up to 4 hours. This means that the Moodle site will not be available during this time. We ask that you inform your students and plan your work accordingly. Please note that the site URL will remain the same, and access to previous courses and backup files will not be affected.
As a reminder, summer courses will be created on May 15, the same day as the upgrade.
We would also like to share a couple of important details about this upgrade, as you will notice some minor differences in your Moodle courses.
Moodle Course Naming Update
Moodle course names will be updated to align with course designations in Workday Student. For a detailed breakdown of the new course names, please visit the Moodle Course Naming Update Page.
Updates in Version 4.5
We are excited to share a few of the features that you will see in the upgraded Moodle site! Please visit the Moodle v4.5 Upgrade Features page for details on what’s coming in the improved Moodle site. These include:
